Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of the body shop operations, including staffing, workflow coordination, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise team members, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and high-performing workforce.
- Oversee profit and loss responsibilities by managing budgets, controlling costs, and identifying opportunities for revenue growth through business development efforts.
- Streamline processes through continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring safety compliance and adherence to industry standards.
- Drive sales initiatives by building relationships with insurance companies, fleet clients, and other partners to expand the shop’s customer base.
- Manage project timelines for repairs and refurbishments, ensuring timely completion while maintaining quality benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within a body shop or automotive repair environment with a focus on leadership and supervision.
- Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to develop actionable plans that align with business goals.
- Demonstrated success in profit & loss management, business development, and sales growth strategies.
- Excellent project management capabilities with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Effective communication skills to lead teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and foster positive customer relationships.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices.
