Schedule:
- Full-time
- Required rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Screen patients for MRI contraindications and review clinical history prior to scanning.
- Administer contrast agents as directed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure optimal image quality.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Adhere to all safety standards, infection control procedures, and ACR accreditation guidelines.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and ongoing protocol development.
Position Requirements:
- Be a graduate of an accredited radiography program
- Registered through the ARRT in MRI
- Possess and maintain BLS certification
- Have three years of clinical experience
- Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures
- Be available to work a minimum of two Saturdays a month.
