Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring properties affected by water damage, mold, and other environmental hazards. As a Restoration Technician, you will play a crucial role in helping clients recover from disasters while ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform water damage restoration services, including extraction and drying of affected areas.
- Conduct mold remediation to ensure safe and healthy environments for clients.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out restoration tasks.
- Clean carpets and other surfaces as part of the restoration process.
- Follow safety protocols during asbestos abatement procedures when necessary.
- Build and restore damaged structures to meet industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the restoration process.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on the restoration progress.
Skills
- Experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and best practices.
- Familiarity with mold remediation processes and safety measures.
- Ability to clean carpets thoroughly using appropriate methods and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
