How We Work

The Position
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects while serving as a key point of communication between subcontractors, suppliers, the design team, Site Superintendent, and Project Manager. You will work closely with project partners to keep information organized, communication clear, and project activities aligned with schedules and requirements.
Job Responsibilities:

Facilitate regular communication with vendors and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project materials, design and engineering, and coordination with schedule.

Participate in regular meetings to review progress, address issues, and ensure all parties are informed.

Help monitor the performance of vendors and subcontractors to ensure they adhere to the project requirements, quality standards, and contractual obligations.

Maintain accurate records of all vendor and subcontractor activities, including contracts, submittals, change orders, and correspondence.

Assist in the development of detailed project information (i.e., submittals, change orders, and RFI's).

Provide technical assistance and support during start up and outgoing documentation.

Review project drawings, specifications, and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.

Respond to emails pertaining to construction projects to assist the Project Manager.

Maintain organized and accurate project documentation, including contracts, certificates of insurance, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project-related records.
- Coordinate the collection, distribution, and tracking of project documents and information between Project Managers, vendors, subcontractors, clients, and other project stakeholders.

Support day-to-day project administrative activities by managing project correspondence, responding to routine project-related emails, maintaining files, and assisting the Project Manager with administrative needs throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, preferred.

2+ years of proven experience in construction project engineering or a related role.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.

Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Premier, Procore, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Primavera.
