Job Summary
HealthSphere EMS LLC is seeking compassionate, professional, and dependable Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to provide safe and efficient non-emergency medical transportation services. EMTs will transport patients to and from hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, dialysis appointments, medical appointments, and other healthcare facilities while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
* Provide non-emergency medical transportation to patients.
* Monitor patients during transport and provide basic life support when necessary.
* Safely operate company ambulances and medical transport vehicles.
* Complete patient care reports and transport documentation accurately.
* Inspect and maintain ambulances, equipment, and medical supplies.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, healthcare facilities, patients, and family members.
* Adhere to all local, state, and federal EMS regulations and company policies.
* Ensure patient dignity, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
* Current EMT certification in the State of Georgia.
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
* Current BLS/CPR certification.
* Ability to lift and move patients and equipment safely.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous non-emergency transport experience is preferred but not required.
Requirements
* Must pass a background check and drug screening.
* Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays if needed.
* Ability to lift up to 125 pounds with assistance.
