Armed Security Officer

Houston Tactical Patrol LLC is currently hiring professional Armed Security Officers (Level III) to join our growing team. We are seeking dependable, professional, and customer-service-oriented officers dedicated to protecting our clients, their employees, residents, visitors, and property.
Pay
- $15.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and assigned post.
Available Shifts
- 8-hour shifts
- 12-hour shifts
- 14-hour shifts
- Monday through Sunday
- Day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts available
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Active Texas Level III (Commissioned) Security Officer License
- 1–3 years of armed security experience required
- Valid Texas Driver License
- Reliable personal transportation
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to write detailed incident reports
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required Duty Equipment
All Armed Security Officers must report to work with the following equipment:
- Black leather duty belt
- Level III retention holster
- Duty firearm
- Two (2) pairs of handcuffs with handcuff cases
- Flashlight with duty holder
- Magazine holder with spare magazines
- All required equipment must be in good working condition and worn professionally throughout each shift.
Job Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned properties on foot and/or in a company vehicle
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity
- Monitor buildings, parking lots, and surrounding areas
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, and suspicious activity
- Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
- Enforce client policies and company procedures
- Provide outstanding customer service to clients, residents, and visitors
- Report safety hazards and security concerns immediately
- Work professionally with law enforcement, emergency responders, and property management when necessary
