Nursing Assistant Position Summary
The Nurse Aide (Nursing Assistant) assists the licensed nursing staff by providing direct resident care related to Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).
Nursing Assistant Qualifications:
- Caring, compassionate, and understanding
- Have a high school diploma, GED diploma or active registry status on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry
- 18 years of age or older
- Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
- Must be able to work every other weekend.
Nursing Assistant Shift Differentials:
- Daylight
- Afternoon: $2.00 differential
- Overnight: $1.50 differential
- Additional $1.00 on weekends for every shift
- Additional $1.00 for CNA certification
- Additional $1.50 if waiving medical insurance
