Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 Base Salary + Full Benefits + Housing/Travel Coverage

Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead a ground-up multifamily apartment project in Bishop, California. This project is expected to run for approximately 3 years, offering the rare opportunity to oversee a project from groundbreaking through completion. The ideal candidate will serve as the onsite leader, ensuring project safety, quality, scheduling, and subcontractor performance while maintaining strong communication with the project team and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day field operations for a ground-up multifamily construction project.

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel.

Maintain project schedules and drive milestones to ensure timely completion.

Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.

Conduct quality control inspections and ensure work meets project specifications.

Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Consultants.

Lead project meetings and communicate progress, challenges, and solutions.

Maintain project documentation, reports, and site records.

Identify and proactively resolve field issues to minimize delays and cost impacts.

Provide leadership and continuity throughout the entire project lifecycle.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up multifamily construction projects.

Strong knowledge of wood-frame multifamily construction.

Demonstrated ability to manage field operations from project startup through closeout.

Experience coordinating multiple subcontractor trades and maintaining aggressive schedules.

Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and quality control processes.

Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work onsite full-time and commit to a long-duration project.

Familiarity with projects throughout California or the Western United States.
