General Responsibilities:
The Coach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program.
Specific Responsibilities:

Attend pre-season coaches meeting with athletic director

Sign in and sign out on a daily basis using the ADP program

Email parents of the team to update them on a weekly basis

Take attendance on a daily basis
-
Assist in distribution of uniforms
-
Assist in collection of uniforms at the completion of the season
-
Plan and organize practice and practice schedules
-
Set up for practices and games
-
Clean up after practices and games
-
Wait for all student-athletes to be picked up after practices and games
-
Work in conjunction with the Athletic Director to facilitate growth of the program
-
Attend end of the season sports awards ceremony
Qualifications
-
High School diploma, or equivalency, preferred Bachelors degree.

Well-rounded knowledge of physical conditioning methods.

A valid First Aid Certificate from the American Red Cross, including CPR/AED training.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
-
Demonstrate leadership and facilitative skills.
-
Adherence to school philosophy, mission statement, policies, and procedure.
-
Follow Florida High School Athletic Association rules and regulations.

Complete on-line concussion test
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
-
Works in a highly stressful environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines and a varied and diverse array of contacts.

May work at a desk and computer for limited periods of time.
-
May work long hours for extended periods of time.
-
Be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
-
Works in varied and extreme weather conditions, including extreme heat.
