- Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)
- Project Duration: Through 2026 (potential extension to 2027)
Key Overview:
We’re hiring a QA/QC Inspector to support a large residential fiber project in Laguna Woods, CA. This role ensures quality workmanship and adherence to build standards across a large residential community. Approximately 80% field inspections / 20% photo & documentation review using a web-based platform to record pass/fail results and notes. Client training on standards provided.
Key Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years of experience in telecom, structured cabling, or fiber installation
- Working knowledge of OSP, drops, and residential fiber builds
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues in the field
- Comfortable using a tablet or smartphone for digital reporting
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily field inspections of residential fiber installations for quality, labeling, and safety compliance
- Review and validate photos and documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Record inspection outcomes using a web-based platform (pass/fail, notes, and photos)
- Collaborate with construction teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Maintain accurate inspection logs and support final QA sign-offs
- Interact professionally with residents and field staff within the community
Additional Details:
- Equipment: Tablet or smartphone with internet access required for QA system use
- Tools: Basic hand tools; light meter and handhole hook (preferred)
- Environment: Field-based role within a large residential community
- Vehicle: Personal vehicle required for on-site mobility
