The CAS - HR Generalist is a client-facing, billable role, responsible for delivering professional human resources consulting services to external clients while supporting internal HR initiatives as needed. This position serves as a trusted advisor to client organizations, providing guidance on employee relations, compliance, performance management, HR infrastructure, and best practices aligned with federal, state, and local employment laws.
This role requires strong technical HR expertise, sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to independently manage client relationships while producing high-quality, compliant, and practical HR solutions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a primary HR consultant for assigned client accounts, providing ongoing advisory support and project-based HR services
- Reconcile and process employee payroll as needed.
- Maintain human resource information system for clients, including managing new hire paperwork, uploading personnel information to employee files, monitoring forms and accruals, setting up and administration of benefits enrollment, PTO and time change requests, Leave of Absence paperwork and identifying and resolving discrepancies or system errors.
- Perform benefits administration for clients, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices and communicating benefits information to employees.
- Assist in preparation, implementation and maintenance of the client’s employee handbook and company organizational chart
- Monitor and enforce client’s firm policies as well as the termination process.
- Handle client employee relations including employee counseling, documentation, conducting investigations and formulating employment recommendations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations and provide clients with recommendations in regard to compliance and organizational development.
- Collaborate with Director of Operations to support internal HR initiatives as needed
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of progressing experience in a Human Resources position.
- 2-4 years of experience in managing/maintaining payroll processes and controls.
- Fluent in Spanish
- Experience in all major Human Resources Functions.
- Must possess one or multiple of the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related discipline, Professional certification or designation in Human Resources or equivalent years of working experience in the industry.
- Regularly attend continued educations seminars/webinars/courses to stay up to date on HR best practices and current laws, regulations and expertise in HR policies and procedures.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused attitude with high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Familiar with firm’s software including OnePoint, CCH Axcess and Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
