Envision Surgery Center is an ambulatory surgery center that specializes in ophthalmic surgical cases delivered by the area’s finest physicians. Our elite team is seeking a part time or full time Operating Room RN to work Monday – Thursday, occasional Friday mornings.
The RN in the Operating Room provides expert professional nursing care for the patient during the procedure. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care of the patient in the operating room.
Normal hours vary between 6:30 and 4:30pm Monday – Thursday.

Deliver professional nursing care in the operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures.

Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.

Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.

Work with all members of the health team to provide optimal care to the patient throughout his surgical experience.

Maintain a friendly, positive and caring attitude with all patients, physicians and staff.

Provide patient education during all phases of the patient’s experience at the Center.

Take an active role on committees within the organization.

Review the patient chart and health history to assure that the necessary preoperative evaluations have been completed. Ensure that the consent form has been signed.

Communicate with other health care team members to for continuity of care.

Schedule: Day shift (start time between 6:30-7:00am)
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Licenses and Certifications: State of Wisconsin RN Licensure, CPR Certified, and ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
