QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma
-
Bilingual Spanish/English desired but not required

Experience working in a professional office setting.

Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and Google.

Able to operate personal computers, laptop computers, peripheral computer equipment, photocopier, fax machine, and other office equipment with a high degree of skill.

Highly motivated with strong organizational skills; able to coordinate multiple tasks at one time.

Self-starter; able to work independently; organized.
-
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
-
Strong telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
-
Experience with COPA, eSchool, eFinance, and YellowFolder is desired but not required.

Knowledge, understanding of, and patience interacting with students, parents, and community members.

Ability to work as a contributing and flexible team member.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
-
Process and complete new student registration and scheduling, as well as student withdrawals.
-
Review and check for accuracy quarterly reports and cycle reports.
-
Maintain current and accurate attendance data book.
-
Process requisitions and purchase orders.
-
Navigate financial reports, including accurate coding of budgets and balancing corresponding Excel documents.

Maintain P-card requests, weekly transaction reports and transaction coding.
-
Document and maintain receipts, cash collection and deposits.
-
Maintain student records in Yellow Folder.
-
Responsible for copy machine toner, staples, and service calls.
-
Responsible for laminator film and loading, speed controls, safety and cleaning.
-
Assist administration with beginning of year and end of year routines.
-
Answer phone, receive messages and respond to inquiries by staff, parents, or patrons of the district.

File and sort paperwork; maintain electronic files.

Input and generation of data/information for recordkeeping in multiple software systems.

Type or prepare reports, compile data, and distribute information to parties both inside and outside of the district.

Type and/or prepare correspondence and communications for families, staff, and students.
