Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Clinic
Duration: 13 weeks + possible extension

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy Ambulatory Outpatient General Surgery Clinic in Lake Geneva, WI. This role offers a consistent Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements. The RN will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality pre-operative and post-operative patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for general surgery patients in an outpatient clinic.
- Perform patient assessments, room patients, and assist with pre-operative and post-operative education.
- Manage wound care, wound packing, dressing changes, and suture removal.
- Assist providers with in-office procedures such as biopsies, cyst removals, and incision & drainage (I&D).
- Conduct telephone triage and respond to patient concerns and post-operative questions.
- Enter and manage physician orders accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure excellent patient care.
- Float to a nearby sister clinic when needed.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 1 year of recent hospital or outpatient clinic nursing experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, patient education, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced ambulatory care environment.
