Hensley Industries is seeking a Welder.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Burning with hand torch.
- Perform welding operations in accordance with ES003.
- Air arcing.
- Maintain welding tools and equipment and report defective equipment or tools to their immediate supervisor.
- Assist in the training of new employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Must know and comply with the Komatsu Worldwide Code of Business Conduct, KAC Code of Conduct, Hensley Environmental Policies, Hensley Safety Policies, and Hensley Quality Policies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Must be able to read blueprints, welding symbols, oxy-fuel cutting, air carbon, arc gouging and grinding.
- Must be able to identify metal codes on castings.
- Must be able to pass a weld test using both mig and stick weld material. Minimum high school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years’ experience welding.
- Must demonstrate the ability to safely operate the following machines and/or equipment:
- a). Various hand tools.
- b). Arc welder.
- c). Mig welder.
- d). Pneumatic grinders and scales.
- e). Pneumatic lift tables.
- f). Arc Torch.
- Must be familiar with Hensley’s Quality System.
- Perform housekeeping duties in work are (KY).
- Perform all job duties without posing a direct threat to his/her coworkers safety or welfare.
- Abide by all safety rules as listed in the safety handbook, including the use of all required personal protective equipment. Actively participate in continued improvement of safety programs and processes.
- Assist in the training of new employees.
