Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Classroom Facilitator to join our growing team. In this role, you will deliver in-person traffic school courses, manage student enrollment, maintain accurate records, and ensure a positive, structured classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate in-person traffic school classes including BDI, IDI, ADI, and TCAC courses
Manage student check-in, attendance records, and course completion documentation
Deliver engaging, structured lessons in accordance with Florida DHSMV guidelines
Maintain a professional, respectful, and productive classroom environment
Assist students with enrollment questions, course requirements, and court paperwork
Coordinate with management regarding scheduling, class rosters, and compliance
Accurately report course completions to the appropriate state agencies
Handle basic administrative tasks including data entry and record keeping
Communicate professionally with students, court personnel, and OPDTS staff
✅ Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching, training, facilitation, or customer service
Strong verbal communication and public speaking skills
Ability to maintain professionalism and authority in a classroom setting
Reliable transportation and punctuality
Basic computer skills — data entry, email, scheduling software
Must pass a background check
Must be 21 years of age or older
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience facilitating traffic school, driver education, or court-ordered programs
Familiarity with Florida DHSMV regulations and traffic school requirements
Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/French Creole) — a strong plus
Experience working with court-ordered or mandated program participants
Customer service or administrative experience in a professional setting
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
