There are 2 opportunities (Varsity Assistant & Junior Varsity) for coaching girls basketball beginning winter season of the 2026/27 school year.
Job / Coaching Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective practice plans to improve players' skills and techniques.
- Develop and execute game strategies to maximize the team's performance.
- Identify and nurture the talents of individual players, promoting their growth and potential.
- Foster a positive and supportive team culture that emphasizes hard work, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Identify and recruit talented student-athletes to strengthen the program.
- Collaborate with youth and travel organizations to provide opportunities for student-athlete to improve
- Ensure adherence to all MCPSAC, NYSPHSAA and East Irondequoit rules and regulations.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, alumni, and the community.
Job Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience required (high school or college preferred)
- New York State Coaching Certification (or eligible)
- Valid CPR/AED certification (or eligible)
