Job Description
To provide care, preparation and positioning of patients to obtain high quality diagnostic images utilizing Ultrasound.
Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology and graduate of an approved School/Program of Sonography OR a graduate of an accredited School/Program of Sonography required. Reg Diag Med Sonograph (RDMS) required within 18 months of hire or transfer. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire/transfer. Credentialed as Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) upon hire preferred. Must become certified as a Sonographer and be registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) within (18) months upon hire/transfer and sit for both exams within (12) months from hire/transfer and successfully pass both exams within (18) months. Registration/certification is attained by passing both the Physics Examination (Sonography Principles and Instrumentation) and Abdomen.
Experience
1 year of experience in Ultrasound Staff Technologist or twelve (12) months clinical experience in an intern/externship of an accredited Ultrasonography Program required. 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, vascular experience in upper and lower extremities preferred.

Salary Range: $42.25 -$53.50
