We are seeking an employee who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians to perform a variety of tasks. Your major responsibilities include assisting physicians in the surgery center and clinic.
Along with helping to perform various ophthalmic surgeries, you are expected to reprocess instruments, clean operating rooms between cases, restock and change over rooms for the next patient.
Duties in the clinic will include preparing patients to see the doctor whether that be for surgical procedures, regularly scheduled appointments or emergency appointments.
You must possess a degree in surgical technology and either have achieved your certification or be scheduled to test for your certification within the year. BLS certification preferred.
Our main benefits are our predictable schedule with no nights or weekends. Our office is closed most major holidays(paid days off). We currently cover 87.5% of your Health and Vision insurance premiums. We have a competitive PTO package available after your 90 day probationary period. We will reimburse approved CE expenses to maintain and renew your license. We also offer a 401(k) with match AND profit sharing.
