Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Cook a variety of menu items with precision, speed, and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and plating
- Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry is preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends a must
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
