Master Electrician
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Master Electrician to lead electrical projects across diverse construction and renovation sites. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical teams on construction sites, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to accurately plan and execute installations or repairs of electrical systems
- Conduct detailed inspections of electrical systems, troubleshooting issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters
- Install, test, and commission industrial and commercial electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local building codes
- Review electrical schematics and blueprints for accurate implementation during construction or renovation projects
- Maintain strict adherence to electrical safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage
Skills
- Extensive experience as an electrician in industrial and commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and building codes accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, testing equipment such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic instruments
- Deep knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local building codes for safe electrical work practices
- Skilled in installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical systems including high voltage applications
- Experience managing teams of electricians on large-scale projects with a focus on safety, quality control, and efficiency
- Familiarity with working on construction sites involving renovation or new builds in both commercial and industrial environments
- Strong understanding of low voltage systems including automation controls like PLCs for industrial operations
