Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Active RBT credential and registration with BACB
- Experience as a Paraprofessional, Behavioral Health Assistant, or ABA Therapist
- Understanding of the state IEP process, with prior school-based experience preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse student populations
- Compassion, patience, and dedication to fostering student success in inclusive educational settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct behavioral support services to students with special needs in 1:1 settings
- Collect and document data on student progress as part of IEP and ABA plans
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and counselors to reinforce learning objectives and interventions
- Support the implementation of individualized behavior intervention strategies in classrooms and throughout the school day
- Foster a safe, positive, and encouraging atmosphere that promotes growth and academic achievement
