Field Engineer (FULL TIME)
Location: Maine
Assist the Project Engineer or Project Superintendent with the planning, organizing, and managing of specific tasks within the assigned project. Help ensure safety and project quality; complete activities to meet customer satisfaction objectives. The roles and responsibilities of the Field Engineer may change to meet the needs and complexities of specific project. Responsible for maintaining a positive working relationship with owners, engineers, subcontractors and personnel within Reed & Reed.
Responsibilities Include:

Maintain positive relationships within the owner, engineering, and subcontractor firms

Help maintain communication flow between owner, engineer, and subcontractors

Attend and participate in coordination meetings, update schedule and address project issues as required

Involvement in implementing quality control program

Perform construction layout to facilitate and support construction activities

Understand and ensure that Reed & Reeds company policies are adhered to at all times

Assist documenting best practices to share with other projects as required

Assist with and/or perform document controls such as RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes and closeout documentation as required

Foster team camaraderie

Support and communicate the Companys vision, values and goals

Assist with issues and help resolve problems

Provide layout assistance and check quality and accuracy of subcontractor work

Understand and follow the project-specific safety plan

Assist in ensuring jobs have safe working conditions and that safe work practices are in place
Must have Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
