Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experiences and increase sales opportunities
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including handling tips and processing sales transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas including tables, bar, and serving stations
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is advantageous
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances guest interactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable dining experiences
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs effectively
- Experience in fine dining environments or high-volume restaurants is a plus
