Northwest Mechanical Group (NWMG) is hiring an experienced Journeyman Commercial Service Plumber to support our growing commercial service operations throughout the Portland metro area.
We are a family-owned commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and plumbing contractor serving businesses across Oregon. Our team is known for high-quality workmanship, strong customer relationships, and a commitment to taking care of our employees.

Position Overview
This is a key field position responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial plumbing systems throughout the Portland metro area.
Northwest Mechanical Group operates as a 24/7 commercial service provider. This role includes participation in an on-call rotation and occasional after-hours emergency service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair commercial plumbing systems
- Perform service, maintenance, and emergency plumbing repairs
- Drain cleaning and jetting
- Troubleshoot domestic water, waste, and vent systems
- Service commercial water heaters, pumps, and circulation systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and service documentation
- Complete leak detection, testing, and preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and code compliance standards
Qualifications
- Licensed Journeyman Plumber
- 3+ years of commercial service plumbing experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Professional customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
