Job Title: Electrical Engineer II

Position Summary:
Using engineering principles and design software, helps to design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.
Essential Functions:
- Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Directs and coordinates manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and design requirements.
- Inspects completed installations and observes operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
- May be involved in developing budgets, estimating labor, material, and construction costs.
Marginal Functions:
Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter. May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
Language/Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Education and/or Experience:
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience.
Environmental Conditions:
- Indoors in normal manufacturing environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise, dust, and fumes.
- Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
- Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and evening/weekend hours in order to meet customer deadlines.
- May move from one work location to another occasionally.

The performance of this position normally requires exposure to typical manufacturing areas were under certain conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses with Side Shields and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment: Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatures and machining. Industrial lighting provided.

Pay: $97,700.00 - $116,000.00 per year
