Pay: $25.00 to $50.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus monthly efficiency bonus
Hill International Trucks is looking for experienced diesel technicians to join our St. Clairsville team.

- Diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty trucks
- Perform engine, electrical, aftertreatment, brake, suspension, drivetrain, and other mechanical repairs
- Complete work accurately and efficiently according to dealership and manufacturer standards
- Use diagnostic software and service information to troubleshoot vehicle concerns
- Inspect vehicles and identify additional safety or service needs
- Communicate needed parts and additional repairs to the service team
- Properly document all repairs and recommendations
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training
- Road test vehicles when required
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Properly care for dealership-owned tools and equipment
- Assist less-experienced technicians when needed
- Professional diesel or heavy truck repair experience
- Class 8 truck experience strongly preferred
- International, Cummins, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, Mack, or Volvo experience is a plus
- Strong electrical and diagnostic ability is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license
- CDL Class B preferred but not required
- ASE certifications preferred but not required
Relevant work experience may be substituted for formal technical education.
This position requires standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, repetitive hand movement, and lifting associated with normal heavy-truck repair work. Employees may occasionally be required to lift up to 100 pounds and may be exposed to engine exhaust, heat, cold, and other normal shop conditions.
