We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our dynamic housekeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of guest rooms during morning or evening shifts, ensuring a welcoming environment that exceeds guest expectations. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, and surfaces, following established standards.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and agents safely, adhering to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and industry best practices.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy linens and furniture with proper technique to prevent injury.
- Use industrial cleaning equipment and floor care tools to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety during your shift.
- Document completed tasks accurately and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Manage custodial supplies inventory and ensure proper storage in compliance with safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous hotel housekeeping or janitorial experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and equipment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely throughout the shift.
- Experience handling chemical agents responsibly and understanding safety data sheets (SDS).
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and hotel emergency procedures.
