CNC Set Up/Operator
A Wilton, NH manufacturer of high-quality, reliable sealing systems is looking for a CNC Set Up/Operator to join their team. This is a great full-time opportunity at a small, friendly company where many employees have enjoyed working for 15+ years!
Responsibilities of the CNC Set Up/Operator
- Set up and operate 3-axis CNC milling machines for small, complex, high-precision parts
- Break down and reassemble tool holders
- Perform in-process quality checks
- Perform deburring and secondary operations as needed
- Monitor inventory of tooling and consumables
- Perform basic machine shop maintenance and other activities as assigned
Qualifications of the CNC Set Up/Operator
- 5+ years of CNC set up and operation experience in a machine shop environment
- Manual lathe and milling experience required; surface grinding experience preferred
- Experience with CNC controllers (Mitsubishi, Okuma)
- Strong attention to detail for machining small parts
- Experience inspecting and deburring parts under a microscope
- Thorough understanding of machine programming
- Advanced blueprint reading, metrology, and inspection skills required
- High degree of competency in shop math
- Strong written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills
