Location and Hospital Affiliation
- Service area: Northwest Indiana and Chicago metro
- Affiliation: Methodist Hospitals (Indiana) — current affiliation or ability to obtain upon hire
Schedule and Availability
- Full‑time and Part‑time opportunities
- Shift options: 8‑hour and 12‑hour shifts
- Weekends and On‑Call opportunities available
What You’ll Do
- Provide safe, compassionate BLS care and medical transport within EMT scope
- Complete accurate documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch, facilities, and care teams
- Maintain ambulance readiness, cleanliness, and equipment checks
- Support the mission by riding on the truck as needed to meet transport demand
Minimum Qualifications
- State‑certified EMT
- EVOC certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and commitment to safety and patient experience
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience with hospital affiliation processes (Methodist IN preferred)
- Current BLS
- Prior experience in non‑emergency and interfacility transport
