Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Plan and follow optimal routes for timely delivery of freight.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Familiarity with route driving and the ability to navigate using maps or GPS systems.
- Experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, tankers, or similar vehicles is preferred.
- Strong understanding of truck driving regulations and safety practices.
