Our job details:
Our job is Monday-Friday no weekends. It is an evening position beginning at 5:30 pm and ending at 1:30 am.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold sanitation standards.
- Handle chemical agents with strict adherence to safety protocols, ensuring proper storage, mixing, and disposal.
- Conduct custodial tasks across various areas including restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces while following established procedures.
- Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or reporting issues that require specialized attention.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning operations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
- Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks in accordance with safe lifting practices to protect yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures is highly desirable.
- Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safety protocol adherence at all times.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness across all areas.
- Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with staff or visitors.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, perform manual handling tasks, and work during evening shifts.
