Durst Winery & Estate is seeking warm, welcoming hospitality professionals to join our Front of House team. Located in the heart of Lodi Wine Country, our historic estate offers guests a relaxed yet elevated wine tasting experience surrounded by vineyards, gardens, and beautiful outdoor spaces.
As our winery continues to grow with new food offerings, events, and guest experiences, we are looking for team members who enjoy working with people, thrive in a team environment, and are excited to be part of an evolving hospitality program.
Position Overview
Front of House team members play an important role in creating memorable experiences for our guests. This position includes wine service, food service, guest engagement, and supporting the overall flow of the tasting room and outdoor seating areas.
This role requires individuals who are comfortable wearing many hats and jumping in wherever needed to support the team and ensure guests have a wonderful visit.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Educate guests about Durst wines and current offerings
- Pour and serve wine tastings, glasses, and bottles
- Take and deliver food orders from our on-site kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and patio areas
- Assist with reservations, group seating, and guest flow
- Support winery events, live music weekends, and special gatherings
- Process transactions through our POS system
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a welcoming and professional environment

- Take pride in keeping service areas clean, organized, and running smoothly
Key Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification required
- ServSafe Certification required
- Previous hospitality, restaurant, bar, or tasting room experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable wearing many hats including wine service, food service, hosting, and event support
- Positive attitude and strong team mentality
- Adaptable and open to change within a growing, evolving hospitality program
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods and work both indoors and outdoors
- Weekend availability required
