Primary Responsibilities_Applications Engineer (Wire EDM)
- Sales Support: Program machines using CAD/CAM to perform precision test cuts and generate technical reports.
- Demonstrations: Lead live machine demos for potential clients, explaining programming and analyzing results.
- Customer Training: Provide on-site and off-site operation classes for new customers.
- Technical Support: Assist clients with machine setup, advanced programming, and complex troubleshooting.
- Industry Events: Participate in trade shows and stay current with 3D Metal Printing and EDM trends.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, or High-Speed Mills.
- Must-Have Skills: Expert-level CNC programming, setup, and machine operations.
- Soft Skills: Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain high professional ethics.
Preferred Skills
- Formal CAD/CAM training or professional experience (e.g., Mastercam, ESPRIT).
- Background in 3D Additive Technologies or High-Speed Machining.
