Primrose School of Fairfax is seeking a warm, nurturing, and experienced Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our growing preschool community. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about early childhood development and creating a safe, engaging, and loving classroom environment for our youngest learners.
Our teachers help foster curiosity, confidence, and compassion through the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach while building strong relationships with children and families.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive and nurturing care for infants and toddlers

Create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment

Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development

Follow daily classroom schedules and routines
-
Maintain active supervision and ensure licensing compliance at all times

Communicate professionally and positively with families and team members

Assist with feeding, diapering, nap routines, and classroom organization

Work collaboratively with leadership and staff to maintain a positive school culture

Qualifications
Experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting required

Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

Strong understanding of child development and early learning practices

Warm, patient, and dependable personality

Ability to work as part of a collaborative team

CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
