Compensation: $25/hour + Bonus
We’re Looking for a Sales-Driven Retail Leader!
Plato’s Closet is looking for an energetic, highly motivated Store Manager who is passionate about retail, sales, fashion, and building a winning team.
This is not a sit-behind-the-desk management position. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, knows how to drive sales, and can motivate a team to consistently achieve—and exceed—goals.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the store while maintaining a strong focus on sales and profitability
- Drive sales results by setting clear goals, tracking performance, and holding the team accountable
- Coach, motivate, and develop employees to become confident, productive sales associates
- Create a high-energy, customer-focused shopping experience
- Lead by example on the sales floor and actively engage with customers
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities to increase sales
- Help build and maintain a strong team culture focused on results, teamwork, and customer service
- Oversee merchandising, inventory, store presentation, and daily operational standards
- Recruit, train, and develop team members
- Handle scheduling, opening/closing procedures, social media and other store management responsibilities
- Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed
- Help create a fun, upbeat environment that keeps customers coming back
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong retail management experience
- Is extremely sales-driven and goal-oriented
- Has a proven track record of motivating a team and improving sales performance
- Is confident coaching employees and holding them accountable
- Leads from the front and is comfortable being active on the sales floor
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is energetic, outgoing, competitive, and positive
- Can multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Has a strong sense of urgency and takes ownership of results
- Enjoys fashion, trends, and working with a young, energetic customer base
- Is dependable, professional, and willing to do what it takes to make the store successful
