American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in a cardiology department, requiring 2+ years of experience and CCI or ARDMS certification.

Cardiology department within an acute care hospital setting serving inpatient, outpatient, and intraprocedural patient populations
-
Handles 7+ cases per day
-
Procedures include stress echo, pediatric echo, and Watchman; 3D echo experience is preferred

Primary equipment is the Philips EpiQ
-
Epic EMR is used
-
5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
-
Rotating weekend coverage on a 6-week schedule — two weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) per cycle
-
One night shift per week as part of the rotating schedule
-
Call coverage required approximately 7–8 shifts per month on a rotating 6-week basis

Float requirements include rotation between inpatient, outpatient, and procedural areas

Minimum of 2 years of recent Echo Tech experience with no gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Active CCI or ARDMS certification required

Pediatric echo and stress echo experience required

Watchman and 3D echo experience preferred

Epic EMR experience beneficial

Active license required, if applicable

US SSN required

Perform echocardiographic studies across inpatient, outpatient, and intraprocedural settings

EKG testing is required as part of the consideration process; candidates are allowed 2 attempts — if unsuccessful, reapplication to this facility is permitted after 30 days

Orientation includes Epic training and routine corporate orientation modules prior to or on the first day

Grey scrubs required
