Experienced Immigration Paralegal (Russian-speaking)
Immigration law firm is looking for an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our team in Downtown Manhattan, NY.
This is an office-based position and is not entry-level. We're looking for someone with hands-on immigration experience who can independently manage assigned cases.
What we need:
- Fluent Russian + strong English
- Prior experience at a U.S. immigration law firm
- Hands-on experience with asylum and Immigration Court cases
- Ability to independently prepare I-589s, I-765s, EOIR filings and motions, including Motions to Change Venue, Reopen, Substitute Counsel, Continue, etc.
- Experience preparing evidence, exhibits, declarations, and hearing packages
- Strong organizational skills and attention to deadlines
- Excellent client communication skills; you'll be communicating with clients a lot
- Ability to stay calm, professional, and solution-oriented with demanding clients and in stressful situations
Experience with other immigration cases is a plus.
