Job Summary
Scheduled hours- Mon - Thurs 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Fri 6:00 am - Noon. Paid lunch, 40 hours per week.
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to assemble floor removal and surface preparation equipment, such as scrapers, grinders, polishers, and other surface preparation machines. This role requires hands-on mechanical experience, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical instructions to ensure high-quality, durable equipment.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and power tools

Interpret schematics and assembly instructions to ensure accurate builds

Install motors, belts, bearings, housings, and electrical/mechanical components

Perform quality checks to verify fit, alignment, and functionality

Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or defects

Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety standards

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve assembly processes

Assist with testing and final inspection of finished equipment
Qualifications

2–3 years of mechanical assembly experience (industrial equipment preferred)

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions

Experience with hand tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments

Familiarity with hydraulics, motors, or electrical components

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

High school diploma or technical certificate (preferred)
