Description:
Holy Cross Hospital, a member ofTrinity Health, is seeking an experiencedEmergency Department RN Supervisorto lead clinical operations on theday shift.
This role is ideal for a strong ED nurse leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about patient care, and enjoys mentoring teams while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-time 36-hour clinical day position with additional office hours (minimum 8 hours bi-weekly)
- Serve as theclinical leader for the Emergency Department during day shift
- Overseestaffing, patient flow, and daily operations
- Assign and supervisenursing and support staff
- Ensure compliance withJoint Commission and regulatory standards
- Supportquality improvement, patient safety, and care delivery initiatives
- Providereal-time problem-solving and decision-making for patient care issues
- Participate instaff development, orientation, and performance coaching
- Promote a culture ofservice excellence and teamwork
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- 5+ years of RN experience in an Emergency Department
- Current Maryland RN license and/or Compact State licensure
- BLS, ACLS& PALS certification required
Skills
- Provenleadership and supervisory experience in Emergency Nursing
- Experienced and competent in pediatrics
- Strongclinical judgment and critical thinking
- Excellentcommunication and team collaboration skills
- Proficient inelectronic medical records and Microsoft Office
Pay rate: $39.47- $61.20
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
