Dallas Nephrology Associates has a PRN opening for a dedicated Ultrasound Technician to join our team at Dallas Transplant Institute. The Ultrasound Tech will be responsible for performing procedures on patients as ordered by the DNA staff of physicians and/or patients' private physicians. This team member will assist with sonography studies, scheduling procedures according to the established appointment times, and participating in the development of policies and protocols for ultrasound studies performed at our DNA office practices. This candidate needs to be outgoing and personable to ensure the highest quality of care.
The PRN Ultrasound Tech will work on an as-needed basis rather than a set schedule. Hours will vary depending on staffing needs, and the employee can accept or decline shifts based on the DNA's policies. PRN employees are not eligible for benefits.
Requirements:
- Associate of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
- Credential awarded by ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS)
- 2 years ultrasound experience, preferred
- Native Renal, Transplant Renal, and Vascular sonogram experience, preferred
Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
