Responsible for serving customers quality food products with fast, friendly service, and maintaining the restaurant in a clean and safe manner by performing the following duties.
Requirements

1. Stock counters and display refrigerators.*
2. Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively as per standards.*
3. Displays food under appropriate hot or cold conditions as per standards.*
4. Completes cold food preparation assignment in a timely fashion.*
5. Maintains appropriate portion control and merchandising standards.*
6. Maintains proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.*
7. Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service as assigned.*
8. Clean equipment and work station at end of each day.*
9. Greets customers in a courteous and timely fashion.*
10. Handles currency transactions in an efficient manner.*
11. Servers appropriate portion sizes as per standards.*
12. Applies knowledge of daily menu items and explains same to customers accurately.*
13. Serves food in a neat and attractive manner as per standards.*
14. Informs cooks in a timely manner when food quantities are low.*
15. Relays relevant comments received from customers directly to management.*
16. Adheres to all restaurant policies and procedures, paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.*
17. Reports problems or discrepancies to management immediately.*
18. Answers telephone calls, take orders, take messages, and directs calls when necessary.*
19. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills.
