ABATS is seeking compassionate, energetic Behavior Therapists to provide one-on-one support to children with autism and other developmental differences in their homes, schools, and communities.

Schedule
Part-Time Afternoons
- Typical hours: 3:00 PM - 7:30 PM
- Flexible scheduling available
- Must have availability Monday-Friday during afternoon and evening hours

What You'll Do
- Work one-on-one with clients using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
- Support clients in reducing challenging behaviors and building positive replacement skills through evidence-based ABA strategies
- Teach communication, social, self-help, and independence skills
- Implement behavior support plans
- Collect session data
- Collaborate with families and supervisors
- Help clients build meaningful life skills
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Associate's degree or higher preferred
- Bilingual Spanish speakers encouraged to apply
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check + negative tuberculosis test
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Physical Requirements
This is an active position. Behavior Therapists should be able to:
- Move quickly to ensure client safety
- Sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and play on the floor for extended periods
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Participate in active play and community outings
- Work in home, school, and community environments
