EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position plays an important role in providing nursing care and supporting patient treatment at Torrance State Hospital. The work focuses on promoting safety, wellness, and daily progress for each patient. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform the following duties: Patient Assessment: Evaluate patient conditions and monitor changes to guide care planningTherapeutic Support: Promote healing by maintaining a safe and structured environmentCare Coordination: Work with the treatment team to plan, adjust, and document patient care needsMedication Management: Administer medications and observe reactions to ensure patient safetyTeam Leadership: Guide staff during daily routines and model professional nursing practicesHealth Education: Teach and support patients in developing daily living and wellness skillsInterested in learning more?
