Cool Bings LLC is proud to operate the highest-volume combined SOMISOMI + Sul & Beans store in the entire franchise, located in Granada Hills! This 3,400 sq ft destination brings together two of the most beloved Korean dessert brands under one roof:
- SOMISOMI – Famous for crispy-chewy Ah-Boong (fish-shaped waffle cones filled with premium soft-serve in cookies & cream, matcha, ube & more) — Opened June 5th
- Sul & Beans – Iconic Korean bingsoo (shaved snow ice) made with fresh red bean, fruits, mochi, plus warm injeolmi toasts — Opened July 3rd
We are looking for a high-energy, hands-on Assistant Manager to work directly alongside our Store Manager and help lead this demanding, high-volume operation. This is a true floor-leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-output environment and is excited about Korean desserts.
As Assistant Manager you will be the Store Manager’s primary support and shift leader. You will help drive execution across both brands, develop the team, protect standards, and keep the store running at peak performance during the busiest periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in leading a team of 50+ crew members to deliver flawless execution of both SOMISOMI and Sul & Beans brand standards
- Run high-volume shifts, open and/or close the store, and lead by example on the floor — making Ah-Boong, assembling bingsoo, running register, and jumping in wherever needed
- Train, coach, and develop crew members across both concepts
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness, food safety, and brand presentation throughout the entire store
- Assist with inventory, receiving, waste control, and labor awareness
- Deliver excellent guest service and help resolve concerns quickly and professionally
- Create a positive, high-energy culture through consistent coaching and recognition
- Communicate clearly with the Store Manager on shift performance, staffing needs, and any issues
- Work a demanding schedule that includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to support this high-volume location
Qualifications:
- 1–3+ years of restaurant supervisory or Assistant Manager experience in QSR, fast-casual, or high-volume dessert/coffee environments (multi-brand experience a plus)
- Proven ability to lead shifts and coach teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership presence
- Willingness to work flexible and demanding hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid CA Food Handler card (Manager certification preferred or ability to obtain quickly)
- Genuine passion for Korean desserts and excitement about this combined concept
- Bilingual English/Korean or English/Spanish is a strong plus

- $24.00 – $27.00 per hour (DOE)
- California overtime pay for all hours over 8/day or 40/week
