Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine care needs.
- Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols, including IV infusion and injection administration.
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for meticulous documentation of patient care activities.
- Support complex procedures such as catheterization, suturing, tube feeding, and sterile processing with precision and aseptic technique.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists in areas like cardiology, ophthalmology, infectious disease care, trauma medicine, and hospice & palliative medicine to develop personalized care plans.
- Manage acute pain and chronic conditions through effective pain management strategies and case management practices.
- Provide specialized care for vulnerable populations including geriatrics, pediatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care residents, and those in long-term or post-acute care settings.
- Conduct triage assessments in urgent care or emergency room environments to prioritize patient needs swiftly and effectively.
- Support infection control protocols and laboratory specimen collection/processing to ensure safety and accuracy in diagnostics.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in good standing with the appropriate state licensing board.
- Proven experience working in hospital settings such as ICU (Intensive Care Unit), Level I or Level II trauma centers, or emergency medicine environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards compliant with HIPAA regulations.
- Experience performing advanced clinical procedures such as ventilator management, phlebotomy, ostomy care, gastrostomy tube feeding, and laboratory testing.
- Critical care experience preferred; familiarity with cardiac catheterization labs or surgical units is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations requiring quick decision-making and excellent patient assessment skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering compassionate patient-centered care across diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.

Pay: From $36.00 per hour
