Member Duties : The VISTA member will support Portland State University in expanding programs that serve first-generation, low-income students. Through capacity-building efforts, the member will help develop accessible, responsive academic support materials, strengthen mentorship initiatives, and enhance outreach and community partnerships. They will contribute to program planning, provide back-end support, and streamline the delivery of guidance and resource navigation materials to students. This role is designed to build long-term infrastructure that supports student success and retention, while giving the VISTA member opportunities to lead, collaborate, and make a meaningful impact.
