Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote repeat business.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible drinking and compliance with alcohol service laws.
- Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts while managing inventory levels accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food service during banquets or catering events, ensuring seamless customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling and cashiering is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests confidently.
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Ability to perform basic math for billing, retail math for inventory management, and cash handling accurately.
- Previous experience working with brewing techniques or in the food industry is a plus; retail math skills are beneficial for stock management.
