Job Summary
Approximately 32 Hours per Week | Day Shift Only | Two Clients
United Care LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to two clients located in and around Mountain Home, Idaho.
The combined schedule is estimated at approximately 32 hours per week and is day shift only. Applicants must be comfortable working in homes with pets. Female caregiver preferred based on client preference and personal care needs.
As an In-Home Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily activities while promoting their safety, comfort, dignity, and independence in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Provide mobility assistance, including walking, transfers, positioning, and safe movement throughout the home
- Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Complete laundry and linen changes as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping and errands
- Provide medication reminders according to the client’s care plan
- Assist clients with daily routines and activities
- Provide companionship, supervision, and emotional support
- Accurately clock in and out for all scheduled shifts
- Obtain required client signatures and complete necessary documentation
- Immediately report changes in a client’s condition, safety concerns, incidents, or emergencies to the office
- Follow each client’s individualized care plan and United Care LLC policies and procedures
- Maintain professional boundaries and protect client confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check
- Must have a valid Idaho driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must maintain current automobile insurance
- Must have a smartphone with reliable internet access
- Must be physically able to safely lift, assist, transfer, and stabilize clients as needed
- Must be dependable, respectful, professional, and compassionate
- Must be comfortable working around pets
- Female caregiver preferred
- Must be available for day shifts
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred
- Experience assisting clients who require a higher level of care or total care is strongly preferred
