Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing personalized recommendations and fostering a lively atmosphere.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and maintain balanced registers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling regulations.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking while addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages efficiently during shifts to meet customer demand.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery in various settings including nightclubs and restaurant venues.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours without compromising quality or service speed.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or fine dining establishments.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible serving practices.
- Previous restaurant or retail math experience for accurate cash handling and sales reconciliation.
- Experience in the food industry, including banquet or catering settings, is highly desirable.
